Great Product

I just picked up one of these today because I have been sick with a rather bad cold for the past week and a half. As soon as I got home, I set the vaporizer up and plugged it in. I could immediately smell the menthol throughout the room (or if I stand int he hallway and just open my door I can smell it). It seems to be working well with keeping me less stuffy than I had been; I am breathing easier.
It’s easy to use and compact so it’s not in the way. The soft green glow of the night light is just right for seeing where the vaporizer is at night without being bright enough to keep you awake. The unit gets warm (as it’s supposed to), but so far it has not gotten hot enough to cause any kind of burns.
Granted, I just bought this and haven’t been using it for very long but my first impression is that it’s worth the price. I find it better than slathering the menthol rub all over my chest. Just remember that this is not a humidifier, all it does is heat the menthol pad to disperse it in the air. So if you need just the menthol similar to the rub, this is for you.

Excellent for cough/cold season!

I bought this to go in my infant daughter’s room when she has a cough/cold congestion. Works very well to reduce symptoms and open her airways. The night light feature is also nice- soft green glow. Really affordable, about $10 for the unit and $5 for 6 refills (each one lasts 6-8 hrs).

ok for small room

We bought this thinking it would be quiet and no hassle w/water,noise and medicine cup. It was, only if it worked as good. You could smell the vicks for about 20 min. then it would fade right out,says it’s suppose to last 8 hours. Ended up using the old fashion vaporizor and kaz for the same amount of $. I have placed it right next to the bed with the vaporizer going too just to try to get my $’s worth out of it.(had also bought extra refills) I wouldn’t recommend this except for maybe a very small room. For best relief just get the regular vaporizer, the cost is the same.

Our son hates vick’s being rubbed on him. And for me nothing was more effective for his coughing and trouble breathing while he was sick. I highly recommend this product.
