Barely functional,
Banana plugs are OK but the grabbers are of poor quality. The Button easily misaligns with the body making it difficult to engage. The hook is much too flexible. I will cut off the grabbers and replace them with decent ones.

|Not worth the low price,
This grabber set was barely functional. It took a good 5 – 10 minutes with a set of pliers to get the spring and hook to fit together properly so that it could even extend out to grip a wire. Much of that time was spent bending the ‘hook’ from the straight position that it arrived in. Its not that I minded spending a bit of time fixing the product, but considering that there are so many other options within $1 or $2 of the price of these, I would recommend buying one of those that doesn’t require manual adjustments before use.
Also, when the description says ‘mini’grabber they mean MINI. These are probably most appropriate for 22+ gauge wire. I was expecting something more in the 12 gauge range.

|High quality product except for….,
This is a very high quality item…except for the mini-clips. The springs function as they should. I didn’t find the problem one reviewer had with them. However, the little mini-clips themselves were fine on one lead but on the other it didn’t come out all the way and did not have enough bend to make it a good “grabber”. The rest of the lead is extremely well made out of excellent materials. The wire is very supple. I imagine it has a high woven wire count. The banana plugs are not only high quality but they are pass through so you can plug another set of leads in and have two active pairs at the same time. That would allow you to quickly use another style lead without having to plug and re-plug leads in.
I was able to get in and shave off the extra plastic preventing the one mini-grabber from extending all the way and easily put a little more bend in the tip so it grabs better. That being so easy to do I’m giving the product 5 starts.
